So over July 4th weekend we decided that we would go camping. We drove to a place a coworker of Nathan had recommended, but we didn't really like it so we drove on into the unknown.
A couple hours later we ended up in Maryland and the Green Ridge State Park. They had the best campsites! Each being a least a mile from any other campsite so it was like we were all by ourselves. The one we decided to stay at was up a little canyon off the main road and had a pond about 100 yards away. It was perfect!
We had a good time together as a family making hobo dinners and roasting smores, albeit it was a little more challenging with a toddler. We might wait untill Evan is at least 30 before we attempt it again, but I'm glad we went.Evan eating his first Smore. He was loving it!
