Fall in Winchester

Today was one of those days that you feel glad just to be alive. It was beautiful! The air smelt so fresh with just a hint of dryer sheets and the sun felt so warm. The boys and I went for a walk and enjoyed all the fall colors. Then we meet up with some of Evan's little friends and went to playground and played. Nathan joined us there. It was fun make up family time.

Then we came home and made omelets and put the boys to bed. Evan has a baby Tad that plays music. We wrap up in a blanket together and put Baby Tad on nigh time mode. In the dark we watch the lights flash and then I lay him down. He is so easy to put to sleep. Nap time is another story. I do the same routine, but it isn't as effective. He might decide to run around for awhile then crawl in his crib or chair and sleep. Then again he might just run around for two hours.

Yesterday it was really sad. His cries sounded different so I went in and checked on him. He had gotten his legs stuck between the bars and was crying so hard. It was so sad. I got him out and rocked him until I heard Jackson start crying hysterically. So I put Evan in bed and I go check on Jack. He had fallen off the couch and was laying on the floor, thank goodness he fell on carpet, and was crying hysterically. It was so sad to see both of my boys get hurt.

Here are some pictures of Baby Jack is his bouncer.....

And his cute pumpkin hat :)
Love him!

Thank heavens kids can bounce back fairly easily! Sounds like a rough day for the little boys but the weather sounds awesome!
